i have a set of 98+ 1LE springs

Front springs (LS1, 360 lbs/in): 22132887
Rear springs (LS1, 130-170 lbs/in): 22132889

and i would like to upgrade the springs/shocks this winter some time. i've thought about dropping the car, but i don't want a drastic drop.
1" would be enough, just enough to decrease the wheel well space and at the same time improve handling a little. from what i've read most springs are 1.3-.5" drop...which i think is just a bit too much.

i've had these 1LE springs for a while, and was wondering if i removed the rubber bushing from the rear and replaced it with some hose as some guys mention, and then cut a little off the front springs, would this give me a .75-1.00" drop?

what would the ride quality be like?

thinking of this since i already have the springs...

Just change to Koni SA front shocks and use the lower perch.
