Spark line curve on scope test

I know this is a normal thing when scoping the secondary ignition system. I just wanted to know why the spark line has a slight "U" shape in it in the firing section of the scope read-out. I noticed this doesn't happen on DIS systems. I just wanted to know if anyone knew why. thanks,
