Help!!! Anyone with a Compucar plate system!!!

I have ground and ground on the thermostat housing. I've groung on the throttlebody and the d@mn thing still won't fit. If anyone has put on of these things on and has any help I would really apperciate it.

you have to grind and grind on your water pump.
