94BlackBowtie 09-10-2002, 01:11 PM Hello all...
I was just wondering what your favorite part about your V6 Camaro/Firebird is...whether it be a 3.4L, 3.8L, or whatever...what's your favorite part about it?
My answer would definately be the handling...the Z28 just doesn't seem to be quite as nice to me for some reason...could just be in my mind, but I find it a joy to drive the big bad 3.4L beast http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif

mshapiro 09-10-2002, 01:14 PM My favorite is the expression on the driver's face of a v8 mustang when he sees me stay by his side.
All_InTheRED 09-10-2002, 01:24 PM Mine too would have to be the handling.
With the 3.4........its not hard to have that me the best part. http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif

BigED 09-10-2002, 02:42 PM I would say the look. There are plenty of fast cars out there, but they all look like crap.
On the books, a Civic Si hits 60 mph in 7.2 sec, whereas a 3.8 fbody hits it in 7.4. I'll wait the extra 2 tenths of a second to not have to ride around in a whiny sounding, ugly looking piece of crap car.
For the money, I don't think that you could get as sleek of car. Even the mustangs don't have our racecar look.

It does look and sound great, though. I suppose in a few years, I might be able to afford something that looks, sounds, handles, and accelerates great too.

blue95 09-10-2002, 10:55 PM I have the Medium Quasar Blue color and after 7 years it still looks great. Chrome and a deep blue.....man that goes together right at dusk. Hehe you know what I am talking about Mustangeater82? I mean there are so many red and black camaros you just don't see the blue that often. Guys don't get me wrong the red and black look sweet but am I blue all the way through.
I don't have any huge mods right now but maybe in the future.....

94BlackBowtie 09-12-2002, 10:06 AM I will agree with the looks as well, I love the 4th gen's...I like the 93-97 Camaro's over 98+ but I like the 98+ F/B - T/A, that's just my opinion though, not saying they are better http://web.camaross.com/bb/wink.gif...And yes, second gear is very sweet.
As for the guy coming in here trying to flame...I have a variety of vehicles to choose from to drive on any given day, and that includes Z's, T/A's, lots of others, and yes, my beloved 3.4 A4 ...I enjoy driving my V6, and it is very worthy of the Camaro name...it doesn't have the power (DUH!) of a V8, but it is still extremely fun to drive, and has the looks. So you think I don't know how much more underpowered the V6 Camaro or Firebird is?? Think again-b/c I do, and I still enjoy driving the V6...
(This is not to add fuel to the flame, I just wanted it to be known that V6's are excellent cars...and I hope that you understand AIT_R that I just wanted that to be understood, and that you will help this perfectly good post keep from becoming a flame war) http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif
Now, what else do all of you guys enjoy about you V6, it's nice to know what each persons own little perk is... http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
