New Brake Pads?

How can i tell if i need new brake pads. I hate when mine squeek. how can i avoid this?

Pull off the wheel and look to see if the pads are getting thin or not.

What do u mean pull of the wheel? Like take the whole tire and wheel off to look at the brake units? Sorry im a little slow
