I'm not sure if there is another name for it or not, but we got one for my friends car and it works AWESOME! It fits on a drill bit and is the consistency of a hard eraser. Takes pinstripes and decals off with ease. Doesn't mess the paint up at all. Works PERFECT. It'll take vinyl off really quick, but won't clean up the remaining adhesive. acarnut 09-15-2003, 12:12 AM Originally posted by My94RedZ28A4 If there is any adhesive left from the old sticker you can use "goo off" or WD40. "Goo Gone" works well and won't hurt the paint. "Goof Off" is like acetone -- be very careful with this stuff. "WD-40" is mainly diesel fuel (an excellent penetrant). DaveH NewbieWar 09-15-2003, 12:15 AM nono dont use goof off... that stuff is strong, we use that at work to remove graffety on our metal door... and it takes the color off of everything... we use it on the speed limit sign too and it takes off the numbers... so dont use that on ur car snorkelface 09-15-2003, 03:48 PM If it's a think decal (almost like a badge), then just use a hair dryer and some dental floss. Jilly 09-15-2003, 06:18 PM I recommend Goo Gone. It got some stickers off my husband's old truck without harming the paint. | ||
