Does humidity affect cam selection?

I am thinking about which cam to use in my lt1 TA. I didn't know if the fact that I live in Florida where there is almost always 100% humidity if I needed to choose a cam with more or less lift, duration, or lsa. Anyone have any ideas?

No there's very little to no difference. Some people say you can get away with a little more compression due to extra humidity but this isn't anything to build an entire engine around! Basically usually you detonate a little less in high humidity. This is a very small effect.

Now if you lived in Denver and didn't race elsewhere you can and should run a little more compression because you are short of air up there but not in Florida.
