Alright im thinking about putting some money into my stereo system and right now all i have is a pioneer deck which is 200 watts max i think..

I was wundering whats the best bang for the buck and what all do i need? I dont really know anything about car audio.

I also want to know if this site Car audio (http://www.cardiscountstereos.com/Index.htm) was a good one because i found some what i think are good deals on it even though i dont even know if it would be good to buy from that site. I was looking at the AudioBahn 10"s on there for like 59 bucks. Also the Volfenhag 12"
1000 Watts Max DVC Subwoofer for 59 bucks which seems like a good deal to me..

Also what can i do about putting subs in.. will i have to get a custom box to get to fit back there and what about the subs hitting i have heard that if the subs are to strong it can shatter the back window..

Of anyone would have a site that tells all about car audio and what not could ya please send it to me so i can get a better understanding.

Thanks

right now i am looking at just putting subs in and maybe some other stuff. Right now my sound systems sounds pretty good for the stock one.. im not sure what it is but i have 6 speakers and the to factory subs by the passenger side dont work which i cant seem to figure out.

and pretty much i want to keep the cost down as much as i can. It doesn't have to be like a bad ass system or anything just something that everyone will say is nice. im not sure what my budget is because i don't know what i need or how much stuff cost.

Best bang for the buck amps is going to be JBL. Maybe get the JBL P80.4 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3045992883&category=4950) for your 6 1/2"s and the bp600.1 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3046085755&category=18797) for the subs. How much bass are you looking for? Would a single 10" satisfiy you? If so, you might be able to get away with the bp300.1 and save some money. If you want a pair of 10"s or 12"s the 600.1 is going to be a must. Some quality subs that are pretty cheap...... Alpine Type-S, Kicker Comp Vr's, Rockford HE2. If you can spend a little more on them, I suggest an Elemental Designs K-series (http://www.edesignaudio.com/ep2/kseries.htm). VERY nice for the money. Oh and check out these (http://www.subthump.com/acamaro.htm) boxes. I'll post more in a bit....
