The GTR will most likely be sold in the US as an Infiniti and have a pricetag around $50,000 when it launches here in 2005/2006. There is a good chance that the HP will be at least 450 or higher.

No, but I'd like for it to perform like a GTR.

I think the GTR looks great and even the wheels rule.

If GM produced a car like the GTR for around $30,000 it would be hard to pass it up.

I think GTR's are very cool.

From the R32 and on...they even have a very Chevy looking rear fascia.

I don't really think Camaros should look Skylines. But I hope they can look as mean as GTR's...and perform as well.

That car looks sexy, especially that second pic. Looks like a winner and a car i'd like to have in my dream garage (dream because it'll never be reality). But i wouldn't want the camaro to look like that. A camaro needs to look like a Camaro.

When i see the 5th gen for the very first time, i'd want my mind to register it as a camaro within 10-20 seconds without look at badging, etc... The styling has to be that distinct and pure. There should be no mistaking a 5th gen as anything other that camaro.

Thumbs up

Front of that car is simply fugly. IMO, that is.

Other than that it looks okay, I guess... However, I would still never consider a $50K Japanese car because I could still get a brand new Vette for the same amount of money.

If not, then I'd just buy a used Vette. Or two...

The car doesn't look too bad, but it's not what I'm envisioning for the next gen Camaro.

50k you say? Wasn't the last version like closer to 80k for the top model? If that is the case, then this car seems like it will cost a good deal more than 50k.

I don't think it costed 80k in Japan. The old skyline costed that much in the u.s due to it's rareness (charge you up the *** for one), as well as shipping, testing, converting to left hand driver, and importing costs. Motorex i believe did the importing. In Japan. it probably was no more than 40k.

Of course that all changes because Infiniti/nissan will be building the skyline to U.S spec instead some small importer like Motorex. The result is a much cheaper car.
