Help please..I got spray paint on the console of my 92, can I use paint thinner..

I accidentally got spray paint on the lower extremes(where it runs along the carpet) of the middle console in my 92. Can I just use paint thinner to get it off, with no worries of damage to my console. Your help is appreciated, as I don't want to drive around like this if I don't have to.

I would start with something a little less than thinner. Maybe a lite solvent, or all purpose with a brush

Mineral spirits should work if it's not to dry,you might have to rub a little. If that doesn't work try some lacquer thinner on a rag in a spot that dosen't show to see how the plastic reacts,don't use to much just wet the rag and rub lightly,and dry quickly. It might take a few tries but it should do the job.
