Comp Cams 306 (230/244 .544/.576 112 LSA)
I would go for a narrower LSA for a carbed application.

Oh sorry, my lift numbers were with 1.6 rockers. Look at the numbers posted by Marc

Advertised duration: 290 intake/307 exhaust
* Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 230 intake/244 exhaust
* Gross valve lift: .510 in. intake/.540 in. exhaust
* Lobe separation: 112 degrees
* RPM range: 2,000 to 6,000

Did you by any chance read another post boasting about the CC306? That is a fairly radical street cam, requiring deep gearing and a loose converter (if auto) and good heads. The LT1 guys seem to like them, but judging by your screenname and the carb question I'm assuming you don't have an LT1. Unless you've swapped a 350+ inch motor into your car with the drivetrain mods to support it this is too much cam.

And yes, it will work well with a carb. It's the rest of the motor and car you need to be concerned about.

Any more info on your setup?
