Is everyone removing ther N20 before getting their smog check?
I have all the smog devices, but would rather not remove it for smog. Will they give me grief?

Depends on the station. I went in and he glanced under the hood... that was it. No problem. Just to avoid any trouble, I'd take out the obvious tank and possibly the solenoids if they are in view.

I just pull the nozzle from the intake and cable tie it back out of the way, then plug the intake hole with a 1/8th npt plug. If they ask, just say it's for track use only, never had an issue, but it depends on the tech.

No, I was just saying the smog tech just glanced under the hood... I've had other techs be really picky. I think the state run garages are more honest and less likely to "pull a fast one". He didn't check any other part of the car, just hooked it up. I would really like to set a bottle in the back seat but I really don't want problems with the police so I think I'll keep it hidden.

I'm checking out the NX kit that you have. I was thinking of direct port but I'm reading up on fuel distribution issues on the first bursts... takes time to load the rails.

So, the MAF is too far past the 90* on the LT1 to get me excited... I'm thinking of mounting a nozzle, then a second later after the engine is build for a two-stage set up.

I was really drooling again last night at the Superchargers... $3800 plus $4500 for a engine build (heads, cam, timing chain, everything, block work)... I'm not excited about spending $10k on that... would rather have N2O then trade for a Z06 in two years for $25K... plus I'll bring my N2O... ;)

Ed, I did the same thing on my last smog test. The only thing different i did was spary painted my solenoid black to hide the set-up somewhat. I also use black wire wrap around the braided line also.
