Taking out T56... ecu related ?

What besides the VSS will I run into when swapping an early model transmission into my OBDII/Fast equipped car?

What functions, besides the VSS, are you leaving in the stock PCM? What trans related functions (if any) are you putting into the FAST? Is your replacement tranny a manual or an automatic? Manual automatic, pressure shifted automatic or electronically shifted automatic?

I was not aware the FAST could control anything besides the motor. Makes sense, just never thought about it. I honestly don't know what all is on the T56 besides cags and the vss.

I would be stepping up to something like a Tremec or Jerico (manual).
