I have 24lb SVOs and my offsets are at the stock setting. Should I change these to the proper settings for those injectors?

Dan K 09-07-2003, 11:55 AM Try stock and the SVO offsets and see what happens. You might find the car runs better with one or the other. ZPaul2Fresh8 09-08-2003, 02:13 PM I maybe wrong but I though SVOs were rated at a higher fuel pressure? If so, then the stock 24# would be better.... no? No. He's asking about the offsets...not the injector constant. madwolf 09-08-2003, 10:40 PM FWIW, I've always had better luck with the stock offsets on SVO injectors. I read somewhere that SVOs flow less than stockers since they are rated at higher PSI??? 383Z4ME 09-11-2003, 12:31 PM It's the other way around. The SVO's are rated at a lower pressure 39.5 (I think) and stock F-Bodies run 43. The SVO's will have higher output at stock F-Body fuel pressure. With my injector constant at 31.68 with my 30# SVOs, I get very close to 128 BLMs at idle. If I change the offsets (raise them like they are rated) the BLMs start to take a nosedive... strange. | ||
