Hi guy's/gals, question for the BBC wizards
Looking to possibly purchase a car (B-Body) that has had a 454 swapped in from a '76 3/4 ton pickup. Would this engine have the dreaded "peanut ports? From what I understand, the light duty truck never came with the HD tall deck "truck block" and got a regular passenger car block. DiD GM ever put "truck heads" (peanuts) on passenger car blocks or only on the HD tall deck? I have never read any thing that explained if truck heads came only on truck blocks, or if they also came on passenger car blocks that were installed in trucks...:confused:
I'm just trying to determine if this car has the good ovals or the bad...
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated:)
