I was just wondering, maybe someday I would like a 4 speed in this thing. Is my only option to find some old m21 or something from a junkyard and rebuild it? How would one even go about converting it from a Th350??? If anyone has any ideas, or even a link to where I can find such a tranny, please help. I saw new T-10s for about $1400.....But I think it only fits chevy, they didn't specify.....

The same transmissions were used in all of te GM cars. You would only need the correct bell housing.

The T-10 4 speed that I have seen in the catalogs (ex. Jeg's) says it handles only 325 lbs of TQ??? I just read that recently. That will be too weak for my application; it won't hold up I don't think. Does anyone here have any experience with the T-10? Thanks for the reply....Maybe I can get this to work someday....

Edit: There is also one with a smaller gear ratio that can handle 375 TQ.....I am unsure of the power output of my motor, so that's about cutting it. Will higher gear ratio make the tranny weaker?! That's how they seem to have them listed.....I wonder what the final drive ratio is on the T-10's....
