Corbeau Forza seat questions

I have a 96 Z28 and looking to install the Corbeau Forza seats for the driver and passanger.

The car is only going to be used for road courses and my thoughts are to install the seats with a G2 Harness bar.

My questions is do I need the optional seat brackets?

What is a good fitting harness for these seats?

Thanks

Don't use a harness bar on a road course. It's a very unsafe thing to do. It offers no roll over protection from flattening your roof to dash level, but insures that your head is held in position to be crushed. It might be OK on an auto x course where speeds are much lower, but for nothing else.

Sorry I can't answer your seat question, but the other issue kind of stuck out to me.

Unless you want to fab them youself, or make stands and bolt the seats to the floor, then yes you will have to get the seat brackets. Be prepared to redrill some hole to make them fit.

i got the Forza, well actually just one for me (ghetto?)

the bracket was like $95 but it bolted in perfectly

Forza was $220 but now the adj CR1 at $399 is looking better and better. if you're tall, the non-adj angle and raised side part makes it a little harder to slide in, i'm creating a wear mark on the left raised thing from my butt

i'm not that big, 34" waist, 6' 185

I had 2 Forzas in mine, but now the passenger side seat is sitting in my basement. I got their brackets for about $75 a piece IIRC, and they bolted in perfectly. No mods needed. The driver's side bracket wouldn't allow the seat to go forward as much as my stock seat, but it still worked out.
