Been trying to get a hold of you for the last week. Did you ship the heads out?????

I bought a set of heads and 1.6 roller rockers from this guy about a year ago. He told me they would be shipped out the day after he got the cash, so I tore my engine apart after I sent the money. It took about 100 e-mails and 3 monthes to finally get the heads. I have heard rumers he owes people money and parts that he has not come threw on ever.
I have to say when I did get the heads they were better then expected, fresh rebuilt and prof. ported by Mark Shaner and I paid a pretty low price for them so I didn't complain. Good luck. I think he will come threw for you if you keep bugging him. I think I still have his phone #s if you want them.

Sorry those didnt get to you very quick. I was in Maryland and Mark is a hard man to get ahold. How are they working out for you?

 

I just wanted to speak up and let him know I did get the heads from you and i figured you would come through for him.

The heads are great. I won a few trophies and a little cash with the car this summer. I am going to the last race in the area next weekend and hope to place again. Then I am going to tear into it and put a 383 bottom end under them heads. I think I'm going to go with a bigger cam then my Hotcam too. Anyway it should be much wilder next year. Did you get the guy his heads??

I did receive the heads.they look alright. the casting numbers are 10128374-, dont know weather they are the 561's that i paid for, but i did receive a set of heads, only thing is I never received my gaskets i paid for. Meangreen97 states they where in the box along with the heads , but nothing in box, except for the heads. And I did waith over 40 days until I finally received my heads after payment was sent. Not trying to talk Sh_t, but i guess i'll have to really think about how i do business with people .

 

The heads were the only thing in there? Im sure there was a small box that had the 10308 springs in it too. Then there was a brown paper wrapped package that had the gaskets in it. If the springs and gaskets are gone we need to call UPS. I dont know how the claim stuff works but if I to call then I will but I would think the person receiving the package would have to make the claim since it belongs to you, but make sure to tell me so I can call or go by the MBE office.

 

what do you mean make sure to tell you. i told you that the gaskets where not in the box. yeah , i did receive the springs, but no gaskets. you told me it was not your problem since you did ship everything. wouldnt you think the gaskets would have been nicked or bent ,or even damaged laying next to 2- 25pound aluminum heads that where in a carboard box filled with foam beeds??

 

I said to let me know if the springs were missing. There were no beads in the box when I took it to MBE. Maybe they repacked it. I definately did not have beads around the house to put in the box.
