anyone know what stores in michigan stock mothers billet aluminum polish? it's different from their aluminum polish and is rather hard to find. i have yet to find it at murrays, autozone, advanced, meijer, target, kmart, or any other general auto parts store in my area.

:(

I'm pretty sure the one off Warren and Tele had Mothers. I want to say I saw it there but I dont know either lol. I'll check that one first and then the one on Plymouth. They're both pretty close. Thanks.

is there only one pepboys on vandyke?

as far as using it results vary depending on condition of the wheels. you shouldn't really use it as a "cleaner" more or less a top coat that helps to protect. if you've let your wheels go your going to have to go with a different procedure.

Jeff,
Yes there is only 1 PB N of 696. IF i remember it is between 17 & 18. Id did see that stuff @ AZ over by me. If ya want me to pick some up i will be @ Freedom Hill park next sunday. Steven

EDIT: I am willing to bet that any harley or custom cycle shop would have it too.

well, you need to clean them first w/some wheel cleaner. esp. mag/alum wheel cleaner. then you'll need two rags. one for polish on, the other for polish off. a little bit goes a long way. spread on a small amount and work into the alum. w/a rag. it should turn black as you rub it in. let that spot setup for a minute while you apply more on another spot, then go back and polish off the cleaner that has dried. you need to buff it off, not just wipe it off. this stuff works wonders. I bought my front runners used, and they were sitting around for a long time. very dull. you couldnt even tell they once shined. then I bought new rear rims (weld drag lites). obviously my rear ones were very shiny but the fronts were verydull. so I polished the fronts twice and now you cant tell the front ones are older then the new rears. and, to top it off, the new rears shined up even more w/the stuff. works great. highly recommended.
