Just installed American Touring Specialties T-56 Crossmember kit in 67 RS. Fit and workmanship are awesome on this piece. I am glad to see a part that actually "fits" like it was made for the application.

Any suggestions on a fuel system. Should I go one big external pump (sump the tank) or should I fabricate brackets and go with an in tank pump and an external pump. BTW it has a lt-1 with a vortech supercharger......
thanks

Awesome, I hope to do this myself in about 1 years time. 68 Camaro, T-56 and LT1 combo with heads/cam job, ought to be sweet road racer material http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif

you ought to consider an LS1/T56 instead... Yeah, the motor will run you a little more, and it is a bit more work to fit the motor in, but everything I've read about those LS1 motors says they are absolutely incredible. (or even track down a LS6 - making 405 NET hp in the current Z-06 vette!) There are plenty of camaros running very low times (in the 12's I think) with nothing more than traction, and a few bolt-ons - no real wrenching as all!

as for the console in the year one project, I think it's from a 4th gen car. Real nice job fitting it in too.

Yes, LS1 is a consideration, but the cost of the motor + $550 or so cost to edit the F'ING PCM!

I made 411 RWHP in my 94 as a daily driver, as it stood like that road racing was still difficult for my level of skill. With some gears in the rear and another 40 HP with a 'stiffer' cam, maybe some non-stock ported heads, 450+ RWHP will be RIDICULOUS enough for me thanks very much http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif
