Increased trans noise after Pro 5.0 install?PatriotTA 09-02-2003, 08:42 PM OK, I know a lot of you have installed Pro 5.0 shifters. After I installed mine, I noticed an increase in transmission noise. I'm also using a McLeod Dual Performance clutch which most likely adds to the noisiness. The noise is usually kind of a "whirring" noise and there are some others in there occasionally too. Anyone else notice this? ZYALATER 09-02-2003, 11:20 PM The Pro 5.0 is alot more noisey than the stock shifter. The lack of rubber, in the 5.0, is the cause. The 5.0 vibrates more. Maybe that is what you hear. Yep its alittle noisey, WISH i can figure out WTF is hitting the driver side floor board, its weird. | ||
