ive decided to go with a street car, nitrous setup.
150-200 shot, does anybody got a good convertor and cam combination? i was thinking 224/236 cam but i dont know what convertor to run because of nitrous peaking low.

Ive read about Dirks car which runs a 3800 convertor and the car runs awsome, but why would it work better than say a 2500 convertor?

also wouldnt nitrous like an earlier shift that a N/a car?

what do you guys think about an 3500 convertor,224/236 cam,
and 3.73 on 26in tire?

any advice would be great.

Camshaft and Torque converter selection are possibly the most important things in the "combination" you're talking about. However choosing them is based on EVERY other little piece of the combination itself. Weight, cubic inch, RPM range, desired powerband, head flow figures, and maybe 50 other variables. You'll get a lot of good opinions right here but you need to give all of the information possible about your "street nitrous car". I'd like to know what you have or what you want to do as far as engine mods.

What kind of power are you looking to make also? 500? 600? 900hp?
