its sitting outside a body shop and says $1000 o.b.o. , havent ran it yet guy says engine runs good. Im pretty sure its a 2nd gen, another guy at school has a 2nd gen and he fixed it up, it looks bad azz ill tell ya what. It smells bad inside and alot of the interior is pure crap but i dont care about interior becuase i have not very much mula and $1000 buks seems reasonable for a camaro that runs and i could fix up. I was just wondering if yall could get me some links to website with pics/tips or whatever interesting crap there is on camaros (2nd gen). also maybe an automotive manual link or somthing, thanks for the help

sure man, what year is it??? get if it is all in mechanical running order, and that the frame is not rusting out.... the body u can always repair, but the frame is not really worth to fix if its only going to be ur first car.

good luck, post some photos of this beast :)

Buy this book.... BEFORE, you buy a 1st-2nd gen Camaro.

Camaro Owner's Handbook (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1557883017/qid=1062521605/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-2232147-0767328?v=glance&s=books)

I highly recommend it!

If there's rust, forget about it. A smelly interior might indicate water getting inside the car, so check under the carpets for rusted floor boards.

These things get crappy mileage.

That said, I'm still having a blast with my first car - my 1980 Z28 :)
