OK, so I have my stock rearend in the car right now, which is a 3.23. I got a rearend from the guy who sold me my car that already has 3.73's in it. So I was getting everything ready to swap them out this morning, and I noticed that I have the ABS gear in my current rear, but there isn't one installed in the 3.73 rear that I'm going to put it.
How difficult is it to get that ABS gear swapped? Does it entail taking the whole carrier apart? Can anyone direct me to a website that might have some good instructions on this?
Also, what consequences (besides not having the ABS) would come about if I just ignored the reluctor gear and put the rear in without it? It wouldn't hose my speed sensor all up or anything, would it?
