Engine Building Checklist SBC

I'm lookin for a complete check list of every clearance you should check on a race-spec motor, as well as acceptable range of clearance, I don't wanna forget anything and don't intend to rebuild this thing for another 2+ years :)

Also, any tips on how to check the rod to cam clearance? Which rods are prone to hitting the cam? I think its only on 2 cylinders that you need to worry but I forget exactly. I'm using H-Beam's that are profiled for stroker applications without needing a small base circle cam, but I wanna make sure anyway.

I wanna know piston to valve clearance, piston to cylinder wall, a good way to check camshaft "walk" as well as acceptable range for that on a solid roller cam, basically I need the check list that a machine shop charging $1000-2000+ to build the motor would use.

I don't usually turn 7500rpm in my motors so I wanna get this absolutely right.

i think there is an engine blue printing book for like $15-$20 on amazon.com. I would think that would alot of that. possibly right here (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1884089267/qid=1062296252/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-5442038-3092904?v=glance&s=books)

Thanks didn't even think of a book :) I've lost patience with the guy "building" my engine, the only reason I was gonna pay for it is because he owes me money so technically im not paying for it in cash n I didn't have the patience to check all the clearances n re-assemble everything 3 times.... but its been 3 weeks since he said he'd build it so I'm getting impatient :)
