Since late may my bird has been driven about a total of 20mi. It has been sitting for at least 2 months. I just got a verdict on my case and it turns out that i may be able to keep the bird because i did not recive any points, or fines, but i lost my liscense for six months. I tried to start it up the other day and it started after like 5 seconds. today, it would not start at all. I was wandering if in addition to syphening the gas, there were some additional things that needed to be checked ( fuel filter ect.).

thanks
Ryan

Just two months sitting there? I wouldn't think there would be a problem. Possibly some water got into the gas tank if it wasn't filled all the way...but that is a long shot.

Maybe the battery? Just a wild guess...

Did you try jump starting it? After you jump start it you should leave it on for 20ish minutes so the battery can recharge. Then afterwards if you turn your car off and are able to turn your car on again problem is solved. If after waiting to let your battery charge you turn off your car and it won't start again with out a jump start, then its probably the battery or alternator.
