My cruise control shuts off when i hit a bump in the road. It will turn back on when i lift the brake pedal up with my foot and press resume. I know that there is some way to adjust this, but I dont know how. Does anyone have this same problem? If so, how did you fix it? -thanks.

Come again...?

You lift the brake pedal with your foot?

So, when you hit a bump on the road, the brake pedal goes down by itself and stays there until you lit it? Now that sure sounds interesting...

Wow...

no, the pedal doesnt sink to the floor or anything, it returns to its normal position. It just slightly moves when i hit a bump in the road, and the cruise disengages. when i TOUCH the underside of the pedal with my foot and press resume, the cruise comes back on. There is no big problem, i just drive on the highway a lot and its annoying.

I'm not eactly sure how the pedal is attached to the car, but it sounds like something is either loose or missing from the pedal assembly.

Better crawl down there are see what's up before you don't have a brake pedal at all. ;)
