just to make sure

i want to make my 2.8 into a 3.1. ( 2.8 bore = 3.5 and stroke = 2.99).....(3.1 bore = 3.5 and stroke = 3.31). so all i have to do is change the pistons and crank and it should make a 3.1...Correct? Any suggestions or coments? Thanks

I would consider just getting a used 3.4L and putting it in.

I want to try to keep my car all original cause everybody modifys their cars, i am going to be diiferent so it will have the look of a 2.8 but be a little stronger with 3.1 internals. Thanks

yep, you just need a 3.1 crank and 3.1 pistons

part # H562CP, your machine shop should be able to get them for you, they're alot stronger than stock, and would free up alil power with the coated skirts
