Hey everyone, over from the LT1 board.. Im going to be helping my buddy with a '99 A4 TA w/ 2.73's swap in a rear disk to disk from another LS1 M6 w/ 3.42's. I imagine its a direct bolt up swap. Anything to watch for or any tips? Both rears have ABS & traction control.

TIA

It's a very easy and straight forward process. You don't even have to open the braking system. Hang the calipers, open the clips, unhook the e-brake lines, and unbolt the little keeper on top of the axle. Use good jack stands and don't let the axle fall off of the jack onto you:eek:

I swapped a M6 rear into my car - no alignment was necessary.
