Gas pedal resistance during launch?coogsLS1 08-24-2003, 11:02 PM Seems like if I try to launch or even start out nicely and get on quickly after that yet still in 1st gear, the gas seems to have some resistance to it. Seems like its bouncing back at me. I dont know if its the ASR or what but...it really sucks sometimes. happen to anyone else or do I need to learn how to drive better?;) zoomjrl 08-25-2003, 12:20 AM if you have ASR on or Activated when you are launching then, yes that is what you are feeling and its normal. I almost always take ASR off when i launch, cause i hate that pedal crap, and i don't like the jerking motion. Ferocity02 08-25-2003, 01:13 AM Ya, that is the ASR. If it comes on and puts resistance on the pedal, don't force the pedal even more or you may break something. AL SS590 M6 08-25-2003, 05:42 AM SLP has a nice little plug in module that reverses the TCS/ARS to always "OFF". Then you have to turn it on when you feel that you need it.
