I personally like your attitude about throwin more at it till she blows, ha....but even if it would hold up to that much juice I don't think you will be able to actually add 250-300 extra on an LT1 intake. I just don't think the flow is there and you will have pretty serious distribution problems. Also even with a fogger I don't think the heads or cam will flow enough for 250-300.

A 150 shot is on there now.94b4c so I guess 200 is the limit.I don't mind wearing the hell out of the motor but I do not want to blow my intake off.hehe:D

If you're gonna go crazy, might be wise to run a ignition retard box and run the system a little on the rich side. Any detonation and you can kiss the stock pistons goodbye. Good luck!:)

I would think you would be limited to around 200HP on a stock LT1 motor just because you can't get the mixture into the cylinders. Even if the bottom end would take the HP (which I don't think it will for long) you don't have the flow to get the mixture into the cylinders.

Try the 200 shot and see how that goes. Just start out careful, take lots of timing out and slowly add more in, and start out a little on the rich side but not to rich because that can lead to serious problems as well called lifted ring lands. Checking plugs is to me the most important thing in running nitrous as that is your window to the motor. Let the plugs tell you when to add timing back in and when to take away the little extra fuel. I will get you a great article on how to read plugs. If all goes well at 200 try 225 and see if there are any improvements. I think you will run out of gains around this level without getting better parts like heads, cam, more cubic inches etc...

i am running a 175 shot rght now on a stocker.
i pull 4° of timing and run 100-104 unleaded.
i feel with this setup i will get in the 10's seeing how i hae run a best of 11.02@123 in 95° heat.

i might go to the 200 shot to really dump it in the 10's,but i'll see what the 175 can do.

I'm runnin a 175, jetted rich, on the stock motor(it was making a very safe 156rwhp, would have made more with a motor tune). I've also got a hypertech chip still installed, no timing pulled, on 93 octane.

I've heard that with the basic kits like the NX and NOS, the most the N20 line(-4 i think) will flow is equivalent to about a 180-185 shot. The next up from a 175 jet is the open line. I'm about to go internal within the month( i think my valve springs are worn) with a cam, and back it down to about a 140-150rwhp shot.

Keep pushing the limits, i'm very interested to know what they can take!
