very cool, its about time some company put a roots type for f-bodies. I wonder how much it costs, hopefully something that can compete to all the other companies out there. I do wonder about its power curve, I noticed it said 1500-5000? Unless thre just pointing out it makes great pwer within this range, hate to see power drop off at such a small rpm. A while back I called them and asked about a kit for the LT1 and they said not worth it since its such an old engine:rolleyes: I could see if it were 20 years old, but its not. Plus I can't imagine it would be that much harder to design something for the LT1, they basically would need to work out the intake, Hell Rooster93 did it without any real major problems

>I think they should have said something like it's s desd engine since nothing comes with the LT1 type anymore ... everything is LS1 based now  and that includes my Silverado :)

They don't describe it as being for F bodies, only Vettes. I wonder why?

I believe it won't fit the F-body because it hits the bottom of the windshield header. Even in the Corvette you have to replace the hood with an aftermarket hood with a bulge in it for clearance.

And the RPM range is as listed since spinning this type SC faster affects the efficiency of the system. Just set your car up to get the most from the RPM range you use and enjoy. You really drive and accelerate with torque so making more torque at a lower RPM level is a good thing.

I think it might fit, by looking at Rooster93's setup it seems there is room, his needed a bigger hood since the intake is on top, but with there setup it would work really well. I wrote them an e-mail explaining that building a setup would be a good idea, this is what they wrote back. THanks for interest in our product. We have begun research and development for the LT1 engine platform. We expect its release to be approximetly 10-12 months. At this time we are unsure if it will fit the F-body applications. signed Judd Reimers.
I'll have to call them up and talk with them, and see what they say for sure, I know that other company with the lysolm charger was going to produce them for sure, but they didn't think the low boost and price would produce interest so they scraped it.

This system isn't available for the f-body. They tried to get it under the cowl but didn't have enough room. The cowl would have to be modified and wipers removed to get it under there. It would be great if this could happen. This kit provides power from about 1500 RPMs which is something that is felt during normal driving.

Lingenfelter wants $4950 for the C5 kit, painted, not polished. For that price you pick up around 100 hp.

It looks so cool but it's not a great value at that price. :(
