nitrous kit wiring help

Here are the directions that came with my NX wet kit. These are easy enough, however I have a window switch and timing retard and need to know how to tie them into this.

My ignition (Mallory 685) has one wire for the timing retard. It is selected when the wire has 12V applied.

It also has one wire for the window switch. It is connected to ground when the switch is active.

Details are appreciated because I'm not very good with electrical stuff, especially when relays are involved. Also where would the timing retard wire go to on an LT1? The same place my tach connects?

Thanks for any help

The timing retard wire... do you mean the switch wire or is it the tach wire connection for the ignition box? Most likely it's the former since the box probably connects to the tach directly through the stock wire harnesses.

If so, then the timing retard wire should connect to the switched 12V post on your solenoid relays. So, when the grounds are completed (your WOT switch, RPM window switch, etc.) they will trigger the relay, and when it's triggered power goes to the solenoids... and since you connected the retard wire to the same post, it'll be activated along with the solenoids.

That's how mine is wired up!

Looks pretty good to me.

Except, why would you use a fuse on a switch wire from the arming switch to the WOT switch? Did you mean to put that on the WOT switch's power wire?

Also, I think you'll need the Mallory's wire to be connected into the same circut as the WOT/arm switch, or else they'll work independently of each other. They should all work by grounding.

Hopefully someone else with more experience can help too.
