Trans Rebuildducci'sZ28 08-11-2003, 07:06 PM I just got back from Aamco Transmissions and they told me my transmission must be rebuilt. They quoted me a price of $1500 to rebuild the trans and replace the torque converter. Im not sure if I really want them doing it. I want to keep my options open. Does anyone recommend a reliable and reasonable place to have a trans rebuilt? WheelmanZ28 08-12-2003, 07:50 PM I just bought a Race Built 4L60E/700R4 electronic controlled trans for my 1994 Z28. I also just put in a Vigilante 3200 stall converter as well. I will have the trans sitting in my garage early next week after I pick my car up from the shop.
