Were down to bolting the egr onto my Hooker Long Tube Headers and the egr flange on the headers is turned the opposite direction from the flange on the egr. It's the tube that connects to the headers and goes to the air box. Can anyone tell me how I am supposed to hook these up? They're steel lines they won't bend. Also, how are you supposed to get the last spark plug on tight with the headers installed?

the hose that goes from your airbox to your headers is your air tube, not EGR

The new issue of Camaro Magazine has the installation you are talking about. I have it but it is not here with me if you don't get an answer in a couple of hours I will post what it says or I can scan it and email it to you.

01 and 02's don't have EGR, You can make a blockplate and cap it.

It's the Air Tubes not the EGR it seems. Apparently Hooker thinks it's allright to sell the same headers to everyone 1998 through 2002 even though their headers won't work with any car after 99 without 98-99 air tubes.
We need help disconnecting the Steering Linkage. Can anyone tell us how to get this thing disconnected? We took off the 2 bolts (one on top and one on bottom) but I have no idea how to disconnect it from there.
