Yeah what camshaft was it? Give us some specs!! http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif If anything just try bumping the idle speed up by turning the screw on the throttle body linkage...there's nothing wrong with a 750RPM idle...

depending on specs, you might need a chip. tpis makes some good ones

Set the throttle stop screw back to where it was. Did you check your TPS voltage setting? Your stock chip should work fine. Did you drive the car for 15 minutes above 35 mph after you installed the cam so the ecm can relearn itself? If you want, buy a stock prom for a 1988 corvette. It works very well for mild cam upgrades. I have used this prom in two different cam installations on a '87 TPI (latest being a GM hot cam)and it functions well. Did you check for a possible vaccum leak? If all is ok, then ground out your ALDL with ign on, then unplug the IAC connector. Start the engine and keep turning the throttle stop screw until you reach 700 rpm. If you have access to a Tech 1, you want to achieve "0" counts on the IAC when doing it this way.

If you have a scantool, screw the throttle blades in or out to vary idle speed till you get around 30 counts for your IAC position. After that reset the TPS to 0.54V and see if that works.
