94REDSTALLIONZ 08-06-2003, 02:02 AM Ok A buddy of mine and I where sittin around the house when a friend of mine ring's the door bell and ask's me to step outside for a race..So I think sure bring it on! lol...Well sitting in my driveway is this new style BMW M Roadster (for those of u that don't know it's basicly a Z3 with an M3 motor) So i'm thinkin' geez man u brought me out here for this?I mean those car's are kinda quick but I don't wana take the guy's money..So I go over and meet the owner of the car..bout' 45 years old straight out of austrailia lol..very heavy accent..Anyway's I say so u wanna run me huh..k lemme get a flashlight from the garage and check out your ride..well we get back and I pop his hood..to my suprise there was a polished Vortech supercharger with aftercooler and water injection sittin in there! So then I kinda got a little worried..Then came the next question..how many lbs. of boost?He says 12psi..I say.....**** lol..this car also had headder's and full exhaust and bigger injectors..So im thinking crap where is my bottle! lol..but of course i have none..he said it layed down 350RWHP on vinci's dyno the other night..so im thinking..damn 350 rear wheel..2700 lb car..im gunna get owned without my bottle lol..so off we go..1st gear roll on the 3rd horn honk..1..2..3..1st gear is over fast and he drops back about 1/2 a car..top of 2nd gear is coming up lookin in the rear veiw and see him about 8 or 9 cars behind lol..so i get out of it thinkin' something happened to his car..but he get's beside me and says DAMN thats nice lol..so we go again..and again..and yet again with the same result's..my friend was asking me what the ausraillian word for OWNED was lol..but we get back to my house and he say's...we need to go out on the green way bridge sometime from a 3rd gear roll..I say hell yes we do lol..but he will still get eaten alive hehe...anyways i was so excited I just had to post..because I took a race that i was sceptical about and came out on top...BIG TIME lol...oh and get this..he said "our car's are pretty much even from what i saw out there tonight" BWAHAHAHA i pulled on that thing harder than Colby Bryant pulled on the hair of his mistress hehe..Anyway's..chalk up another win for the black Z :) and i know we have a kill section on this forum..but i wouldnt dare post in there..kinda almost ricey in there "i beat a hyabusa with my stock ls1 car" type stuff..Anyways American muscle does it again! hehe later,

VSGLS1 08-06-2003, 09:47 AM Wow, guess he can't drive. I pulled more RWHP @ Vinci's and my car weighs probably 700 lbs more. I should be able to hang no problem, especially from a roll. I should be heading out to the track sometime next month for some new times. You are now the Aussie owner. Should have told him he should have bought a Holden, lol.

figure the car starts with 343 crank hp.........add boltons which im sure he has...........figure 360hp crank, or about 310-320rwhp
so his supercharger only gained him 30-40 rwhp at 12psi!?!?!??!
id be pissed if i were him!
even if vincis is a mustang dyno........hes still really low

The new M Roadsters have 315 hp stock. 350 rwhp with 12 psi is still PATHETIC though.

my bad.........i just looked up the Mseries and it said 343
either way it sucks.......he should be up around 400-450rwhp with that much boost.

VSGLS1 08-06-2003, 05:49 PM Vinci's is a Dynojet, I dynoed there a few months back and will be dynoing after the new setup is done within the next few weeks. Keeping the before and after #'s as true as possible. I'd say this guy has a lot of $ and can't drive. I should be at the track by September after I iron out some tuning.

The older M roadsters had 240 crank hp stock. So I guess 360 rwhp wasn't too bad after all.
