Unhappy custom LT1 engine

Custom built motor to our specs by H&M Performance Racing Engines in Richmond, VA. The motor had 15,000 original miles when oil pump failed and the engine seized up. Took opportunity to customize rather than put in new stock engine. Then totaled the car. The entire front end was undamaged.
Engine: New bottom end. Comp cam dur@.50 212/229, lift .510/.510 114 lsa. Ported and polished heads with oversized valves 2.02 exhaust/1.60 intake, complete comp cams valve train, port matched lt1 intake also ported to a 52mm Holley polished billet 52mm thtrottle body, tb bypass, egr deleted, a.i.r. pump deleted, March underdrive pulleys, performance plugs and wires, GM#36 fuel injectors, long tube headers. custom computer by Ed Wright at Fastchips. $4,000. you pay shipping.
some other parts available, most from the front end of car, like headlights, left front fender; also, speakers, dashboard, many other parts. email if you are looking for something.

I didn't drive the car...i only paid for it! As I'd had requests for more information than I know about the engine, I asked the people who built it if they would answer serious inquiries about it. I can put you in touch with them if you send me a private email. Please, serious interest only so they aren't bothered with phone calls. The price is firm as I've been advised that I could get a lot more. Shipping at your expense.

I must be missing the part where you list the supercharger, twin turbo, or nitrous. That's a baby cam to make 500hp with. Isn't the lt4 hotcam more stout than that?

Like I said in an earlier post, I can't personally answer these questions. I also said that serious buyers only could send me a private email and I can put you in touch with the people who did the work. They can answers all questions. please only do this if you have serious interest. Thanks

the hotcam has more duration and lift than that, and has a tighter lobe separation. kind of hard to belive 500 hp without a power adder id say...

If the engine is built to your specs, please list or email what you specified. Who put the combo together, and how did you arive at 500 hp fwhp? My n/a 396 LT1 engine isn't much more...so I would like to know how you arrived at the #'s....

Wink Remember... Her name IS CamaroMOM

No offense meant, but she made it clear that she never drove the car, so we can only assume that is was driven by the person who makes her camaroMOM rather than just Camaro Lady!! (her KID)

Looks like if you want the real details... you'll need to talk to the people who built it (like she has been SAYING)

Or maybe... camaroKID would be another option.

Problem is... to get serious interest as you require for more details... you have to give people a reason to be interested....

Unfortunately, for most of us here who have build UN-naturally aspirated cars that put out between 500-600HP it is VERY hard to believe that this NA, head and cam ONLY motor could be anywhere close.

THAT is why it's probably gonna be hard to get the "serious" interest you are looking for......expecially at 4k for the motor only unless some "evidence" is offered as to where this arbitrary HP number comes from.

just my UN-solicited $.02
