impurities damaging paint

ok, I figured this is the best place to put this as it didnt seem to fit any where else.

I need to find some proof that animal waste is damaging to car paint. in short my wife and I got into an argument and she does not believe me that cat/dog urine can damage the paint on my car.
we all know any impurities are harmefull, but I need some proof to show her, and sadly our car enthusiast say so isnt good enough for her :rolleyes:
