Yes thats what I did , called Chris at the 800 number & sealed the deal.:D :D

So all i do is call that number, ask for chris and tell him i'm rob96ta from cz28, and thats it.

Anyone got a price on these without me bothering Chris? Do we get a GP price? :)

What y pipe is everyone using with these headers?

custom mostly.

Mufflex Y-Pipe and Jet-Hot is coming out with a Y-Pipe for these headers soon.

They have been saying that the y-pipe is coming out soon since March.:rolleyes:

The Y-Pipe is supposedly coming out at the end of this summer sometime.

I just got my Jet-Hot headers 15 minutes ago :D :D They are nice!

I got my headers back in April and they are very nice.

The headers themselves aren't that bad, just lots of little problems along the way that lead to a 20 hr. install.

What kind of problems did you run into? was it the way the headers fit?

No, the headers fit fine.

I had a bolt get stuck in the stock manifold while I was trying to get it out, broke oil pressure sender, etc., etc.

For the headers, all I really had to do was remove the motor mount bolts and jack the motor up a couple of inches.

Just ordered from Chris w/emissions.

4-5 days can't wait.

i would just like to say that customerservice at jet hot is a-1 i wont go into the situation but they go out of thier way for the customer thanks Jet Hot

Ordered mine July 30, recived Aug.05. Look real nice but, be forewarned head to headder gaskets not included. Ordered some copper ones from Summit, appox. $27 should work A-1.:cool:

Workmanship is way better than my Hookers, but it looks like they aren't as close to equal-length as the Hookers. My other concern is that they will partially shroud the top of my heavily ported exhaust ports (I have to open up the top of FelPro 1406 gaskets to fit the port opening). I wish Jet-Hot would have raised the tube holes in the flanges about 0.200". I'm going to fire up the die grinder to make the opening taller, but there isn't much meat there.

Gasket-wise, I've never used the gaskets that came with headers. In my experience. they have invariably been cheap paper gaskets that would blow out in a day or so.

:confused: Mine came with all the gaskets&bolts, I ordered Fel-Pro's anyways though :)

What price are these going for? I want to either get a set now, or just wait till the Y-pipe is done and get them both at the same time.

I don't think the GP ever started, people are just calling him direct and ordering them. Chris never chimed in to this thread.
