I need to drop a few RPM I think. Should be an easy swap, all the bolts on my car have already been out, and anti siezed before going back in.
Mine's a 94, no TCS, and has been filled with synthetic gear lube for the last couple thousand miles.

Timberwolf, put me on the list too! I have my original stock 3.42 M6 axle already out and waiting :D I went with 4.10 gears on my car and I'd consider "dropping a few RPM's", by going to a 3.73 ratio. If it makes the swap any easier for you, I could drop off my already pulled 3.42 axle assembly, and after you do the swap, just stop back to pick up the 3.73 axle. My 3.42 axle has 50K on it, but it's quite and the posi works GREAT. :) Let me know what you deceide.

ok, I'll let you guys know as soon as I decide what I am doing with the trans. I am thinking of selling my freshly rebuilt 4l60e(less than 100 miles) and converter in favor of a th350 that would be built to handle more power with a healthy spike of torque from the bottle.
If I can make that happen I'll give it a shot with the 3.73 gears and then decide for sure about swapping rears.
