Hesitates when gas hit really fast

When I hit the gas really quick, the car seems to hesitate a little before kicking in. Never did this before. Not a real big problem, but something I would like to fix. Doesn't matter how much gas I give it, just how fast I hit the pedal. But it is much more noticeable the more I mash the pedal. Any ideas what this can be? Already replace the Oxygen sensor, IAC valve and throughly cleaned the passages on the TB.

Check the TPS. With the key on and engine off, tap into the ECM with a scanner and see what happens when you gradually open the throttle blades. It should be a smooth sweep from base TPS voltage to WOT

Any way to do it without a scanner? Like with a voltmeter or something? If so, how?

Stick a pin into the black wire and another into the Dark Blue wire. Read the voltage when the engine is off and the key is in run. As you open the throttle blades, the voltage should go from 0.54V to the max SMOOTHLY. If it has drop off points or dead spots as you open the throttle, the TPS is bad.

lordmetalz28, your suggestion seems to imply that the hesitation is normal behavior and therefore Summit has created a device that corrects this. However, this is not normal behavior and no such device should be needed. Before this problem started, the throttle response was instant. So I'm wondering why they even create such a device?? Seems like this device would just be "covering up" any underlying problem.

i apologize i didnt explain better. its a tps enhancer . so assuming your tps is dead correct the enhancer gives you more for less basically. ( if your throttle is 70% down normally !!!with this device its a 100% down) you get a crisper throttle and more bang. www.summitracing.com its a neat profermoance peace
