help me pick out a tire setup

hey id like everyone's opinion on a tire setup. my car has the 1998 5 star aluminum 16" wheels on them, not sure about their factory width. i went to the track the other day and had to damn near stall the car just to get a little bit of traction and it still got squirrely through 2nd. i ended up with a best 60' of 2.4 on my 13.9 @ 103.6 run on 235/55/15 all weather cooper cobras and this is just not cutting it guys :) here are my mods

k&n fipk
slp two on the left exhaust
ported maf
spec stage 2 clutch and pressure plate

mods getting installed this week:
moser 3.73s
gutted cats
Nitrous Works 150 shot wet kit

id like good traction and plan on putting the new tires on spare wheels so i wouldnt mind a slick but id really like some help picking out some tires. also im using my factory 10 bolt so im not interested in a huge slick thats gonna break my rear end :)

someone please give me some advice!

With a 6 speed and traction there's always a possibility of rearend :death:. I recommend 26x10.5x16 or 26x11.5x16 ET Streets. I'd skip the DR's since a 150 shot is in the mix. :D
