RainX Ultra Wax

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has tried that new RainX Ultra Wax, that says it contains a tough UV protectant and mirror shine? Supposedly it is a synthetic formula, but I'm not completely certain about that. Also, I never could tell from their info if it has cleaners or if it might possibly layer.

I'm trying to recommend a decently protective, yet cheap and easy to find, product for a relative. The new RainX product caught my eye and was wondering if it lasts longer than most store bought products, or maybe even as long as other synthetic products. I'm thinking it will either be the RainX or DuraGloss, but I wanted to give RainX a fair shot too.

Thanks,
Mike

I have tried it, its pretty good. The best wax is Zaino but it is a little tough to get, me second favorite is armor all diamond hard shine (or something like that) but I havent seen it in stores in a long time, they must have discontinued it. Then third would be Rain X, its easy to take off and beads for a long time. I have a black car so of course its hard to find a good wax. I wil never use anything other than Zaino on my car now that Ive finally tried it. Also I dont now why but I have never liked the Mothers or Meguiars, I have friends that love them, but I hate em.

Well, I think I'll try the RainX sometime for kicks, however the relative decided to order Zaino instead of the local stuff I was recommending, which even surprised me. After seeing the protection and shine on my car, I guess that pushed them over the edge to take better care of their new car. ;)
