I just put a cam and Headers on my car it is smoking when you first start it and smokes a little when it is idleing , It is a 2000 with 23,000 miles is this normal for a car with no tuning?????

you usually have to reprogram the computer after a cam. That may be why

Yeah, I'd say that's normal. My car smoked pretty bad for about 5-10mins. after I installed my headers.

well it all depends what color the smoke is... Stock will smoke when you first start it at times the is becouse the oil that has settled in the cylinder. I would be a little worred about the smoke at idle oil smoke is a blueish wite color. if the car is running rich it will be more of a black somke in this case it could be an ajustment

it should not smoke anymore but it did at first due to it was burning the oil they put on the hedders too keep them in good condition till they are sold you know like to keep them from looking dingie

It'll smoke for a bit because it's burning all of the oil from your hands that got on them, and the protective oil they coat it with to prevent corrosion.
