GoFast908Z 07-28-2003, 01:05 AM you usually have to reprogram the computer after a cam. That may be why 96SFLZ 07-28-2003, 01:26 AM Yeah, I'd say that's normal. My car smoked pretty bad for about 5-10mins. after I installed my headers. 2000TA 07-28-2003, 08:24 AM well it all depends what color the smoke is... Stock will smoke when you first start it at times the is becouse the oil that has settled in the cylinder. I would be a little worred about the smoke at idle oil smoke is a blueish wite color. if the car is running rich it will be more of a black somke in this case it could be an ajustment 2000TA 07-28-2003, 08:26 AM Originally posted by 96SFLZ Yeah, I'd say that's normal. My car smoked pretty bad for about 5-10mins. after I installed my headers. it should not smoke anymore but it did at first due to it was burning the oil they put on the hedders too keep them in good condition till they are sold you know like to keep them from looking dingie Bone Maro 07-28-2003, 09:41 AM It'll smoke for a bit because it's burning all of the oil from your hands that got on them, and the protective oil they coat it with to prevent corrosion. Nothing big. | ||
