Electrical Question

I just got a 2000 SS, and was driving in the neighborhood when the interior lights came on by themself. It was getting kind of dark but I never turned on my headlights.
I'm used to driving a '93 z28, so is this like a new feature or a new problem???

upon further examination of what you're trying to describe, it sounds like your instrumentation lights came on. Is that what you meant? I thought you were saying your dome light came on. If it was your dash lights, yes the headlights come on automatically.
