but NOW i love it

The two biggest turnarounds I had were the Acura RSX and the new Accord. I hated the first pictures I saw but as I got to meet them in person I was impressed.

1. 2003 Accord. I'm still somewhat unsure, but now I like it more.
2. 2002 Camry (i thought it was hideous at first)
3. 2000 - 2003 Nissan Maxima

Nissan Morrano.. At first I hated them, now I just dislike them.

I think there are more cars that I didn't mind at first but then grew to dislike

The Camaro/firebird facelifts in 1998 . I thought they were both but ugly . Now I love both cars .

Acura TSX . Hated the pics , but the real thing is really cool looking car .

99-up mustangs . Again I thought it was hideous when they came out , but now tables have turned . The 94-98's look hideous sitting next a 99-up .

First saw it I thought it was gaudy and way too "pinched", like it was really bulky but had no width to it. I'm definately starting to like them now though...

Sadly, I have to say the Buick Rendevoux... I think I hated it because of the Aztek lineage, but it's l;ines are much better.

I don't really "love" it, but I no longer hate it.

4th gens....

The Honda Element looks a little more attractive now that I see them everywhere...They looked like sh*t in pictures online...

The Infiniti FX45 looked OK in pictures, then I saw it at NAIAS, and got to sit in it. That thing was pure badass for being an SUV, I'm definately going to test drive a few of those...

The '05 Mustang looks better in pictures than in person IMO in concept form...

The Chevy SS looks great in pictures and in person. They say their going to use these styling cues in upcoming vehicles, THEY BETTER SINCE THEIR NOT PRODUCING THE ACTUAL FREAKING CAR! fawking teasers.... :mad:

The current Celica...I wouldn't say I love the design, but when they first came out I couldn't help but laugh at the headlights everytime I saw one.

After seeing the current stuff coming out, the headlights don't look as radical as they once did.

i HATED the LS1 styled cars when they came out (camaros) and the engine too. now they dont bother me too much. they just look too much like a sebring IMO

When the Impala made its return in 2000 I was not a big fan. Then my mom's old '93 Grand Marquis died (stupid Fords...) and her and my oldest brother came home with a brand new 2001 LS. Now I like the styling more than I did before. I want her to go out and buy the new 2004 Impala SS, but I dunno :).

The Chevrolet Belair concept. If there was ever a car that looked awkward in pictures, that's the car. When I saw it at the LA auto show back in January, I wondered what the hysteria was about. It was surprisingly good looking (though not breathtaking), and seemed like it should be in production already.

As far as actual production cars, Cadillac's CTS. In pictures it looked somewhat bizzare and a bit too angular. But when I began to see them in person, they have a stylish and commanding "Presence" that has been lacking in US production cars for quite awhile. Today, I think the CTS is one of the best looking sedans on the road.

here's another nod to the '03 Viper...

I was very unimpressed by photos but after seeing a couple in person, my opinion quickly changed...

The looks of my WRX have grown on me after initial skepticism.

*4th gen Camaro's
*Focus Zx3 (the sedan is still ugly)
*Fox bodies
*Cadillac CTS ( i still don't know whether i like or dislike this design, but that's a step above hating it)
*2003 Accord coupe (still thing the sedan is ugly)
*Newer Altima's
*Front end of the newer Chevy trucks
*The new BMW 7-series (I still like the old one better btw)

That GTO is starting to grow on me. If the Camaro doesn't come back, the GTO may be my next ride.

i used to hate the look of the new mercedes, then i went to a mercedes dealership a little more than a week ago bc my dad was looking for one, took one look at the interiors, and fell in love with the whole cars

1) The new 350Z - Originally thought styling was to edgy, but now love it.

2) The new bonneville SSE with the trans-am copied nose

3) The catfish-nose camaros (1998+) [still growing on me].

The CTS...I agree with guion in that it is probably the best lookin sedan on the road (and it will only get better with the CTSv :) )

The new edge mustang.

Like now:

Nissan: new Maxima, 350Z (I still think the G35 coupe has better lines)

Cadillac: CTS, Escalade (Avalanche style)

Chevrolet: Impala is growing on me, the tailights are still holding me back; new front on Silverado (almost there, with the incentives & my GM card, may end up with one this fall, if not then the GMC still looks good, the Silverado needs larger rims to offset that front overhang), new front on '98 Camaro. Believe or not, the Corvette (C5) didn't really care for too much until just recently, C4 fan myself (sold my '91 a few months ago).

Mitsubishi: Lancer, after seeing the EVO, I got a new appreciation for the Lancer.
