milled/ported stock throttle body? 48-52mm ??

milled/ported stock throttle body? 48-52mm ??
somebody on ebay mills out the throttle body to 52mm, calims its the same as an aftermarket 52mm.
should I go with this or get the after market one, is there a difference.

I got my 52mm done by a guy who sells on ebay. I contacted him and sent mine to him for service. It is cheaper but what I ran into was a messed up idle due to incorrect throttle bores. The blades would not close all the way. The guy that did it stood by his work the whole time till it was corrected! I think if I were to do again I would just by the BBK unit. I have heard of problems from the Holley unit(TPS mounting holes).

If you are planning some serious mods, I'd just buy the Accel 1000 cfm TB or there are several brands that are also just as good. Unless it is someone that is reputable, I would not buy a ported piece of work from them.
