dis3as3d 07-26-2003, 09:06 PM Well got back from my stock dyno numbers and I cant stop smiling :D. I went with a bunch of guys from the Northwest LS1 forum. I pulled 322.8 RWHP and 333.4 RWTQ BONE STOCK :bow:. If i had a way to digitize the papers I would post the Graph.
Those are good numbers. Mine only pulled 309.4 hp and 330.8 tq.
blackbowtie02 07-26-2003, 09:22 PM Bone stock those #s are awsome! I've read some people get 300 stock out of their 00 LS1s. Is you're car M6 or A4?
dis3as3d 07-26-2003, 09:27 PM I have a 6spd, and the pull was on a DynoJet.
mr_muff 07-26-2003, 09:57 PM damn man, nice numbers. no lid or anything?
Grifter 07-26-2003, 10:12 PM Awesome numbers! Slap on a Lid and they'll get even better.
Now, are those Numbers to the wheels or flywheel?
Thanks!
IrocManiac 07-26-2003, 10:18 PM UHHH...I'd assume those are at the wheels...those are AMAZING...just amazing...
Grifter 07-26-2003, 11:15 PM I thought the same.
I thought you had to do an equation to get the numbers at the wheels, because you loose power through the Drivetrain. Or did you already do that, or am I an Idiot?
IrocManiac 07-26-2003, 11:36 PM If its dynoed that gives you the numbers at the wheels you have to use an equation to get FWHP from RWHP if you used a RWHP dyno.
dis3as3d 07-26-2003, 11:45 PM The dyno takes the reading at the wheels, it measures how much you are auctually putting to the ground.
95GRNZ 07-27-2003, 12:09 AM Holy cow! I've heard people doing that with stock 01+ cars, but not on earlier models...
Congrats! Sounds like a Wednesday car!
I only (???) got the numbers in my sig... :(

southpaw 07-27-2003, 07:12 AM whoa.
how come the numbers differ so much ? someone with ~322rwhp and another with 309 ?
arent the 98-02 the same engine type ? they should all get oughly the same numbers, right ?
All LS1's generaly put down around 300 hp. With some freaks putting down around 340 hp.
darrens99formul 07-27-2003, 07:53 AM Awesome numbers bro! Grats!
Southpaw,
98-00 came with ls1 intake. 01 & 02 models came with ls6 intake and will dyno about 10 HP more from it. Plus M6 cars dyno a little higher then A4's. And then you can have what they call "factory freaks" that dyno beyond the normal range for that year and trans like dis3as3d. On the other side of the fence you can get a facory "dog" that dynos less then normal.
Generally the 98-00 dyno between between 280-300 so this was definately a factory freak.
01 & 02 models are usually 305-320 stock with the M6's usually 10 horses or so higher then A4's.
Grifter 07-27-2003, 09:58 AM Thanks. I think I was switching the power to wheels, and the power to the flywheel.
danziger 07-27-2003, 12:24 PM Geez! Those are great #s! I don't think my 2000 Z28 was anywhere near that strong, but I never dynoed it stock.
camaro322hp 07-27-2003, 01:08 PM wow, awesome results. you got the same HP as i did with a HPP3, flowmaster, and k&n.
psychocabbage 07-27-2003, 03:41 PM very nice.. which exhaust do you have on? I know I am nitpicking here.. but the numbers are very good considering you dont have the intake the newer ones do.
also, how many runs and what where those numbers?
now go to the track!
96SFLZ 07-27-2003, 03:53 PM Nice numbers.
I agree, get to track and back those numbers up.
Jettison 07-27-2003, 04:33 PM Are you sure it's stock? Do you still have the POS factory air box?

Well mine did 292rwhp and 314rwtq stock which is low for an 02 Z28. After three mods(see Sig) i picked up 56rwhp and 49rwtq which did put me at 348rwhp 363rwtq now. By the way 01-02 usually dyno higher than the ones before since they have the LS6 manifold.
