Which one is the loudest. I dont care about quality of sound, I just want to know which one is loudest....

ditto on the car alarms mav. got the same setup!!!!! just this morning i got all these stares while i backed up in the parking lot. i love to scare people

 

My cutout was louder then my Loudmouth is now with headers.... And i didnt have headers when i had a cutout.... so yea, a cutout is loud and sounds really really really good.

My wife said she heard my cutout from a good half mile away when I got on it. So I would say cutout.

 

My LM sets off car alarms by itself! Cut outs are even louder. CHeckout my LS! dyno video post on this board. my LS1 is LM only, my buddy Eric has a LT1 straight into cutouts. My car sounded loud, but with his we put in earplugs. It was painful!

Thanks for all the replys folks. I already have a cut out, but Ive been entertaining the idea of changing my exhaust and was wondering if I went with the LM or GMMG would I be getting louder of quieter. Thanks again.

 

Cutout wins hands down. I love the fact that everyone always has to turn around to hear whats coming down the road. People get headaches from riding in the car. Only thing that sucks is cops. They can hear you at least a 1/2 mile ahead. Oh and if you thing after a long time your cutout sounds quiet cap it for a day. Then you'll know how loud it really is. When I cap my car I swear im drivin a v6.

 

i shut the cutout when i'm getting into the house late and it sounds like it stalled on me or something, i can't hear it like i can with it open...... i love this thing!!!! now i need to gut the cats or get LT's
